Are there any aquariums with a coworking space similar to AOAO Sapporo in Tokyo?

I just remembered that AOAO Sapporo had an actual coworking space there and was wondering if there was anything like it among aquariums in Tokyo. I just remembered that AOAO Sapporo had an actual coworking space there and was wondering if there was anything like it among aquariums in Tokyo.

tbh I don't think any of the Tokyo aquariums have a proper coworking setup like AOAO. but if you're open to a bit of a walk, the area around Kasai Rinkai Aquarium has some quiet cafes in the Edogawa ward that are barely touched during weekdays. there's a small place called Cafe Marine right near the west exit of Kasai station that's basically empty after 2pm and you can see the aquarium roof from the window lol. not the same as being inside but the park itself is huge and has benches with river views if you need a change of scenery between tickets

There's no official coworking aquarium in Tokyo, but the closest thing might be the Ikegami Aquarium in Shinagawa. It's a tiny neighborhood spot with a sunken seating area that overlooks their main tank, and it's usually dead quiet on weekday mornings. The tank isn't flashy but the sound of the water filters and the soft blue lighting make it feel like a library with fish. You'd want to bring your own pocket wifi because their free one can be spotty past 11am when the school groups start rolling in.

Not really the same vibe but Sumida Aquarium in Tokyo Skytree has a cafe area where people camp out with laptops all the time. It's not an official coworking space but the view of the penguins from the cafe tables is pretty solid. The Skytree itself has free wifi in parts of the building too so you could technically squat there for a few hours

Shinagawa Aquarium is smaller and more local, they have a seating area near the dolphin show that's usually empty on weekdays. No dedicated workspace though, just benches. If you really need a desk with aquarium vibes, your best bet is prob just finding a cafe near any of them and walking over for a quick visit between work sessions

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
