I know most people would suggest kappabashi and I've seen some but I'm looking for any suggestions for specific shops that specialise in sake glasses and have many kinds of designs.

Good cospa would be great too (I feel like the ones at the department stores are quite expensive)

honestly for 24+ pieces you might wanna check out the Tsubame-Sanjo showroom in Shinjuku, near the south exit of the station. they specialize in metalware but also carry a solid line of glass sake cups from local Niigata artisans, around 600-900 yen each depending on thickness. the cool part is they sell in sets of 6 so getting 24 is just 4 boxes, and the quality is way better than what you'd find at Don Quijote or those random tourist shops.

another option is the Tokyu Hands in Shibuya, the basement floor has a whole section for traditional crafts and they stock these stackable sake glasses from a brand called "Arita" that are super practical for bulk buying. they're around 500 yen each and stack neatly so you can fit 24 in a small cabinet. not the fanciest but the cospa is hard to beat for everyday use.

Mamiya is solid for traditional stuff, but if you want something with a bit more character, check out the glassware section at Loft in Shibuya. They stock a brand called "Hirota Glass" that makes these handblown sake cups with subtle color gradients, around 1,200 yen each. Not the cheapest but way less than department store prices and you get something that actually feels handmade.

For bulk buying, you could also try the wholesale market at Shinagawa Intercity. There's a shop called "Tokyo Glass" that doesn't advertise to tourists much, but they sell cases of 30 matching cups for about 15,000 yen total. Just bring cash and expect no frills.

if you're near ginza, there's a small shop called "sake-kiki" on a side street off harumi dori, like a 5 min walk from the station. they mostly do tasting sets but their retail section has these really nice heavy-bottomed glasses from a place in osaka, around 700 yen each. they're not fancy but they feel solid in the hand and the weight makes them less likely to tip over at a party.

another spot that's kind of under the radar is the "dashi to sake" store in jiyugaoka. they're mainly a seasoning shop but they carry a small line of etched glass cups from a kyoto studio, like 1,000 yen each. the etching is subtle, just a wave pattern near the base, so they look elegant without being flashy. good for a more refined vibe if that's what you're after

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
