Can anyone recommend an Electrician who can install Ethernet cabling either internally through plasterboard walls, (in which case the time-frame is longer), or channel through external walls and route externally ? As I currently have scaffolding erected outside of my place (until Thursday), this would make such external routing easier when / if necessary, to achieve. [Cat 6A support minimum]

tbh if you've got scaffolding up already that's the move. external routing gets way easier when you don't have to worry about ladders or dangling. try calling Kanda Electric in Meguro, they're pretty chill about small jobs and do cat6a all the time. just tell them you need it done before the scaffold comes down, they're used to that kind of deadline. might cost a bit more for the rush but beats having to repaint walls later

if you're in a time crunch with scaffolding, that's your biggest advantage right now. external routing through conduit along the exterior wall is way faster than fishing through plasterboard and patching holes later. just make sure the electrician uses weatherproof conduit and proper grommets where it enters the house

try calling Tanaka Denki in Nakano, they do structured cabling for offices and homes. they're used to tight deadlines and will bring a team if needed. last time I used them for cat6a they terminated everything with keystone jacks and tested each run, cost about 15k per drop but worth it for peace of mind. just tell them the scaffold comes down thursday and they'll work around that

honestly if you have scaffolding up until thursday you're in a good spot for external routing. try calling Denkiya in Shimokitazawa, they do a lot of network cabling jobs and can prob squeeze you in quick if you explain the time crunch. not sure if they do cat6a specifically but worth a shot

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
