Disneyland recommendations?

Heading to Tokyo in November, how far in advance should we buy Disneyland and Disney Sea tickets? And any other recommendations you have? Heading to Tokyo in November, how far in advance should we buy Disneyland and Disney Sea tickets? And any other recommendations you have?

tickets are officially on sale a month or two out but honestly they sell out fast for weekends and holidays, so if you know your dates grab them as soon as you can from the official site or klook. november is nice because the crowds are lower than peak season but you still get the christmas decorations up from mid-november, which is pretty magical at disney sea especially. also if you don't mind spending extra, the priority pass for the newer rides like soaring is worth it to save a few hours of waiting

If you're going on a weekday in November you can usually buy tickets a couple weeks out without too much panic, but weekends are a different story. For DisneySea specifically, try the Mediterranean Harbor buffet restaurant Magellan's for lunch if you want a quiet break, it's way less chaotic than the quick service spots. Also, the monorail from Maihama Station accepts Suica and Pasmo so you don't need to fumble with cash for that.

For November, the Christmas events start mid-month and the park does a lottery for some of the seasonal shows and character greetings. You can enter once per day through the app when you get in, so have that ready before you arrive. I'd also recommend getting the popcorn buckets early, the seasonal ones sell out by noon and people line up at the carts near the entrance before the park even opens.

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
