Is there any coverage of last night's storm in the news?

I've been looking around on new website for any coverage of last night's epic storm, but haven't found anything.

If anyone has any link, please share! Japanese or English is fine.

since the nhk and mx clips are prob already covered, try fuji news network's site. they had a crew out in setagaya around 2am live-streaming the flooding near the tamagawa river, and their article from this morning has embedded video of a car stuck under the shimotakaido bridge. english version is fnn.jp but the japanese one at fnn.jp/prime has the raw footage

yeah NHK had a segment on it this morning during their 7am news block, pretty standard coverage with some footage from shibuya crossing. the english version of their site (www3.nhk.or.jp) should have the clip up by now

honestly most japanese news sites are slow to update overnight, but tokyo mx had a pretty good recap during their 8am local news slot. they showed the flooding near kanda river and some fallen trees in yoyogi park. if you missed it their youtube channel usually uploads those segments within a few hours

Best aquarium in Tokyo 2026: Ocean Center worth it?

Any recs for a clinic near Shinagawa that takes national health insurance, and what a walk-in visit usually runs? Also, is the aquarium actually worth the ticket price in 2026 or should we just do Sunshine Aquarium instead?

Sunshine Aquarium is the better rainy-day pick with kids, and Maxell Aqua Park handles strollers easier than Ocean Center's ramps.

yeah the ramps there are rough with a stroller

maxell has that indoor dolphin show the kids wont forget, but check stroller storage before u go

For the back, try a seikotsuin instead of a clinic, they take insurance and walk-ins run about 1,500 yen.

Ocean Center's penguin and jellyfish halls justify the price, but weekend seikotsuin slots fill fast so call ahead.
