What are some internal doctors (内科) that you might recommend?

I had a quick Google, but the articles that I got were results for doctors, not internalists 内科specifically

Thanks in advance

honestly, for 内科 that speaks english and actually listens, i'd say check out st. luke's international clinic in tsukiji. it's part of the big hospital but they have a separate outpatient area for international patients. the 内科 docs there are used to explaining lab results in plain english, not just rattling off japanese medical terms. they're open on saturdays too which is handy.

fwiw, if you're willing to go a bit out of central tokyo, tokyo express medical clinic near shinjuku gyoen is solid. it's a small clinic but the doctor trained abroad and will go through your bloodwork line by line. first visit with cash is around 8,000 yen which is decent for central tokyo. just call ahead to make sure the 内科 doc is in that day since they rotate specialties.

if you're in central tokyo, tokyo midtown clinic in minato has english speaking 内科 doctors and they actually take time to explain bloodwork results. i've been there a few times and they didn't rush me out. just know they're a bit pricier than a regular clinic, like 10,000-15,000 yen for a first visit without insurance coverage. for something more local but still english friendly, try hiroo international clinic - they're near hiroo station and the doctor there used to work at a university hospital so knows his stuff. both are actual 内科, not just general practice

Where can I find crispy, pan-fried bacon similar to a certain international style?

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
