What's everyone up to on this beautiful day?

I'm sitting by the Tama river listening to music. I'm sitting by the Tama river listening to music.

ngl your tama river spot sounds ideal. i was biking up the arakawa cycling road earlier and stopped at that little bakery near futako-tamagawa station, the one with the almond croissants that sell out by 10am. got lucky today. probably gonna wander over to soshigaya park later and see if the cherry blossoms there are worth the hype.

man i've been meaning to get down to the Tama river more often, the path between Fuchu and Chofu is my usual stretch. instead i'm stuck in Koenji sorting through boxes at a friend's place, trying to find his missing wifi password on a sticky note somewhere. hope the water's not too low yet, it's been dry the last few weeks

ngl the tamagawa sunset from the futako bridge hits different this time of year, the light bounces off the water all golden. i usually bike down there with a can of chu-hi from the famima by the station, find a spot on the grass and just watch the sky change. way better than dealing with the crowds at yoyogi honestly

You'll want to look for packages labeled "streaky bacon" or "American-style bacon" at places like National Azabu or Nissin World Delicatessen in Azabu. I've found the stuff at Kaldi Coffee Farm is hit or miss, so check the fat-to-meat ratio before buying.
