Does anyone know a place in Tokyo that offers Beam Ray Therapy?

Beam ray therapy is one of those things that shows up in the more obscure corners of the city, but I've noticed a few places in Kichijoji offer it. There's a small clinic near the north exit of Kichijoji station, about a three-minute walk past the Sunroad shopping arcade, that has it listed as "bio-photon beam therapy" on their menu. It's 4000 yen for a 20-minute session and they use a device that looks like a hair dryer attached to a metal stand, which they move around your body. The staff there are pretty straightforward about it being experimental, so you won't get the hard sell you sometimes see in central Tokyo.

one place you might not have checked is near Ueno station, there's a small wellness center on the side street behind the park that does beam ray therapy as part of their "energy alignment" menu. it's about 3500 yen for 20 minutes and they don't try to upsell you on extras like the roppongi places do. the receptionist speaks enough english to explain it but you'll need cash since they don't take cards

I've seen a few places advertise "beam ray therapy" in the smaller clinics around Harajuku, usually listed as a type of light-based acupuncture alternative. There's one tucked away on Cat Street that offers it for around 4000 yen, but the sessions are only about 15 minutes. If you're after something more established, the Tokyo Midtown clinic in Roppongi has a similar treatment they call "photonic stimulation," though it's pricier at 8000 yen and they push a whole package on you.

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
