yeah xbox is rough here, you found that out fast. tbh your best bet isnt the big chains but smaller shops like Book Off or Hard Off, they sometimes have a random bin of xbox games for like 300-500 yen. also check the "used game" section on Amazon Japan, some sellers ship from Akihabara stores you can visit in person but they wont have much stock in the window. akihabara's Trader or Sofmap might have a few but dont expect a wall of titles like PS5 gets.

another spot to check is the GEO in ikebukuro, they have a small xbox section in the back that's easy to miss. usually it's just the big new releases but i've snagged a couple used copies of forza and halo there for like 1500 yen. also if you're near akihabara, the super potato in ikebukuro (not the main one) sometimes has random xbox stuff tucked away, mostly japan-only releases like fighting games or shooters that never left here

Book Off is your best bet, but you gotta dig through the bins. The one in Shimokitazawa has a surprisingly decent Xbox section on the second floor, mostly Japanese stuff like local shooters and rhythm games.

Best aquarium in Tokyo 2026: Ocean Center worth it?

Any recs for a clinic near Shinagawa that takes national health insurance, and what a walk-in visit usually runs? Also, is the aquarium actually worth the ticket price in 2026 or should we just do Sunshine Aquarium instead?

Sunshine Aquarium is the better rainy-day pick with kids, and Maxell Aqua Park handles strollers easier than Ocean Center's ramps.

yeah the ramps there are rough with a stroller

For the back, try a seikotsuin instead of a clinic, they take insurance and walk-ins run about 1,500 yen.

Ocean Center's penguin and jellyfish halls justify the price, but weekend seikotsuin slots fill fast so call ahead.
