In addition to get a Giants hat?

if you're hanging around the dome without a ticket, the best move for lunch is grabbing a bento from the depachika in Tokyo Dome City's basement level. they've got this spot called Kamakura that does a grilled salmon bento for like 800 yen, then you can just sit on the steps near the main gate and eat while watching everyone filter in. feels way more part of the action than sitting in a restaurant.

for the hat, honestly the convenience store inside the Suidobashi station ticket gates sometimes has Giants caps for like 1500 yen, way cheaper than the official store. it's just a basic fitted cap but nobody's gonna know the difference when you're cheering outside the stadium

honestly skip the official store if you want a better vibe, head to the little sports shop on Yasukuni-dori just past the LaQua complex. they sell older model Giants hats for like 3000 yen and the old guy running it always has a game on his tiny TV.

for lunch, theres a tiny standing soba place called Kanda Matsuya near Suidobashi station exit 2. its nothing fancy but you can watch the crowd flow toward the dome while you eat a bowl of kake soba for 290 yen. perfect for getting in the game mood without needing a ticket

For a Giants hat, just head to the official team shop inside the Tokyo Dome itself, it's called the Giants Store and it's open to everyone even without a ticket. They've got a massive selection of caps and jerseys.

For lunch, I'd grab a seat at the Suidobashi Terrace along the river. It's a short walk from the dome and has a few outdoor cafes where you can people-watch fans heading to the game. The karaage from Torikizoku there is cheap and hits the spot, plus you'll see plenty of people in Giants gear passing by.

if u have a costco membership the kirkland thick cut is the move, 4 packs of 500g for around 2500 yen and it crisps up proper in a cold pan. for smaller runs, precce in azabudai hills & the basement at isetan shinjuku both carry imported US & danish brands in the chilled case, just read the label for "thick cut" or "smoked" and not "loin". also worth knowing japanese bacon is often wet-cured so pat it dry before frying or it steams instead of crisping

kaldi coffee farm is hit or miss but their smoked bacon from denmark shows up pretty regular, the 200g pack runs about 600 yen. what actually works better for me is asking the butcher counter at peacock or life to slice the block bacon thick, like 5mm, they do it for free and it crisps way better than the pre-packed stuff. also fwiw cheap bacon crisps faster, the fatty supermarket kind at 300 yen a pack works fine if u cook it from cold in a dry pan and pour off the fat as it renders.

tbh the gyomu super store brand bacon is surprisingly decent for crisping up, its not thick cut but if you cook it low and slow it gets pretty crunchy. the key is the dry cure vs wet cure thing, wet cure steams. also check hanamasa if you have one nearby, they sell big packs of american style bacon thats actually smoked and firm.
