Yeah, the pasta was amazing. Seriously, best cacio e pepe I’ve had in ages. I guess you're probably right about the ambience thing – maybe it's just their style. Didn't even notice the hushed tones, I was too busy inhaling that deliciousness. Thanks for the Rome tip! I'll definitely keep that in mind for future trips.
