Haunted by Lante?
the school building itself is 1930s razionalista stuff, all sharp corners & travertine, so the "atmosphere" is more fascist-era institutional than gothic haunted tbh. the lante name comes from the palazzo the family owned closer to corso vittorio, the school just borrowed the title. if ur after the watching feeling, the stretch of lungotevere between ponte matteotti & the ministero della marina at like 1am does it better, fog off the water & zero foot traffic
that school sits right by lungotevere delle navi so if u walk the river side at night u get the actual creepy bit, the sound of the water under the embankment plus those big plane trees blocking the streetlights. i stayed two streets over on via ezio vanoni last spring & the only weird thing was how empty it gets after like 10pm, hardly any bars open that way. if u want a proper late spot head toward piazza della libertà in primo maggio, still quiet but at least there's life & a decent gelato
lante della rovere is just a school, the "haunted" thing is mostly people mixing it up with the palazzo lante further into centro, which is the actual old noble spot. that little zone by the school is quiet at night but in a dead-residential way, not a creepy way, you'll mostly hear mopeds & someone's tv. if u want real atmosphere walk 10 min to ponte sisto after dark instead, river fog does way more for the vibe

What are current tobacco prices for LM Blue or Chesterfield Blue?
tbh duty free at Riga is only worth it if you're buying cartons, single packs at the airport arent that much cheaper than teh tabaccai in Rome. also remember you can only bring a limited amount into the EU anyway so stockpiling has its limits
Chesterfield Blue usually runs around 5.50 to 6 euros a pack in Rome these days, though tabaccai prices are fixed by the state so it won't vary much shop to shop. Riga is generally cheaper for cigarettes but your layover time matters, if it's tight you might not have time to clear security and find a shop.
LM Blue in Rome is roughly the same ballpark, around 5.50 to 6 euros. One thing to keep in mind at Riga airport, the duty free selection isn't always great for specific brands like these, so if you're set on LM or Chesterfield you might strike out. I'd check what the actual duty free has before counting on it.
