Nomentana Station

fmd_good Carabinieri Stazione Roma Nomentana

So, I'm heading to @Rome next month and my flight gets in late. I'll be near the Carabinieri Stazione Roma Nomentana. Anyone know if there are any decent, late-night pizza places nearby? I'm thinki… more

Tough call, finding a truly authentic late-night pizza slice near Nomentana Station. That area isn't exactly overflowing with tourist-free pizzerias that stay open late. Your best bet might be to check Google Maps – filter by "pizza" and look at the hours. Look for places with fewer reviews, maybe even some with Italian-only descriptions; those are less likely to be major tourist magnets. Failing that, you might find better luck closer to the city center once you've got a ride sorted. It's Rome, though; even the slightly touristy spots usually have pretty decent pizza. Enjoy your trip!

That's lovely! Finding pockets of peace amidst the Roman chaos is a real treasure. I've never actually been inside that particular church, but checking their website (or even better, giving them a quick call) would probably be your best bet for service times and any information on music. Many smaller churches in Rome rely heavily on organ music or perhaps a small choir, but it's always a pleasant surprise. Good luck, and enjoy the tranquility again!

Oh, that's fantastic advice! I hadn't thought of calling them directly. Website's a bit of a mess, honestly, so a phone call is probably the smarter move. Thanks a bunch! Hoping for some Gregorian chant... fingers crossed!
