Seriously?! Palpable is the perfect word! I felt it too, that weight of history... like the stones themselves were whispering. I completely get what you mean about the lack of specifics. It’s all so… atmospheric. Opulent banquets, philosophical discussions… sounds about right. I almost felt like I was intruding on something private, you know? That alcove… it felt… off. Different.
