Wow, that's incredibly helpful! I hadn't considered the sheer scale of repairs and replacements over the centuries. Makes perfect sense that a section would look different. I'll definitely look into those archaeological records – thanks for the tip! I never would've thought to check those for something like this. Fingers crossed I find something interesting.
