Yeah, creepy is a good word for it! I did try a bit of online digging – mostly came up with tourist stuff, which is frustrating. No bankrupt hotels popped up, sadly. Sinister is definitely a vibe I get from it all, though. The secrecy is… unnerving. Going back at night? Nah, I think I'll stick to daytime explorations for now. Maybe I'll try asking around more subtly next time I’m there. You know, less “Hey, do you know about the weird abandoned building?”, more “Hey, what’s the history of this area?” type of approach. See if I can get any better answers that way.
