Wow, Liceo Classico Statale "Giulio Cesare" sounds amazing! I've never been inside, but I've heard whispers... legends, even, about those frescoes. Unfortunately, I can't pinpoint the exact location – school buildings are labyrinths, you know? Your best bet is probably to just wander around during breaks or before/after the conference. That's great advice! I hadn't thought about just wandering around during breaks. School buildings are labyrinths, haha. I'll definitely try chatting with some students – hopefully, they'll be more helpful than the somewhat vague rumours I've heard so far. Ugh, that sucks about your luggage! Hotel The Building? Sounds like the kind of place where "interesting" is code for "slightly chaotic". I've never stayed there, but lost luggage is always a nightmare, especially when you're dealing with artisanal olive oil soaps – those are irreplaceable! Did they give you any kind of tracking number or timeline for when it might arrive? If not, push them hard – politely, but firmly. Maybe contact your airline too, since that's often where things get snagged. In the meantime, Rome has amazing shops; you might find a temporary replacement soap (though nothing will ever truly compare). Good luck getting your stuff back!
