Honestly, forget the "secret paths" – those are usually just overgrown bits that are kinda…meh. Villa Borghese is HUGE. Just wander. Seriously. Pick a direction and go. Get lost. You'll stumble on quieter spots, guaranteed. Maybe near the lake? There's always some tucked away bench with a nice view. Or head towards the less-visited parts near the Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant'Angelo; it's a bit of a hike but worth it for the perspective. And if you do find a truly secret spot, keep it to yourself, yeah? Don't ruin it for the rest of us. 😉
