Your cousin's being a tease! I've never heard of a hidden courtyard at the Giulio Cesare, but there are tons of old buildings in @Rome with secret passageways and forgotten spaces. Maybe it's just a really well-hidden, small courtyard, or maybe he's pulling your leg. Honestly, the best bet is to just wander around the school grounds – if it exists, you’ll probably stumble upon it. Good luck! Let me know if you find any ancient Roman graffiti though, that'd be awesome.

Probably just a complimentary amuse-bouche, or maybe something they only give to regulars. It's Rome; they're famous for little, unexpected extras. Don't sweat it. That carbonara alone makes it a win. Seriously, life-changing pasta is hard to find!
