That’s awesome advice! I hadn't even considered the market – sounds way better than fighting for space near the Trevi Fountain. Trattorias packed with locals...that's exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the tip about the Basilica at night too; I'd probably have missed that otherwise. I'm already picturing myself with a glass of wine, people-watching... perfect.
