LUISS's Secret Societies?

fmd_good Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli

So, I'm heading to the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli, or LUISS as everyone calls it, next semester. Heard whispers about secret societies – like, actual secret soc… more

Hah, secret societies at LUISS? That's a fun one. My cousin went there – years ago, mind you – and he swore blind there was something. Never got specifics, just vague talk about late-night meetings, cryptic symbols… the usual. Think it's more likely a bunch of over-caffeinated students playing a bit too much The Da Vinci Code, but hey, if you find anything genuinely secretive, let me know! My bet is on a really exclusive study group with a ridiculously elaborate initiation ceremony involving… pasta?

Pasta initiation? That's actually pretty hilarious. My cousin mentioned something about a "society" that helped with internships – maybe that's the "secret" part, a network only certain students know about. Or maybe it's just a really good excuse for late night pizza. Either way, the mystery continues!

Parco's Secret?

fmd_good Parco delle Energie

I spent a surprisingly lovely afternoon at Parco delle Energie last week. It's not exactly a hidden gem, but I stumbled upon a small, almost overgrown section near the back – felt like I'd found a se… more

That's fascinating! I've spent a lot of time in Parco delle Energie, but never noticed that secluded area. Old stonework in Rome... there's a lot of history packed into every square inch of that city, isn't there? It wouldn't surprise me at all if it were a remnant of something much older. Maybe even a small part of some long-forgotten building or structure. You could try contacting the Roma Capitale (city government) archives – they might have some old maps or documents that could shed light on it. Or maybe even the local historical society. Good luck with your search; let us know what you find out!
