Honestly, you can't go wrong at La Piadineria. Their mortadella and squacquerone is a classic for a reason – creamy, salty, and just melts in your mouth. But if you're feeling adventurous, try the 'Nduja piadina. It's spicy 'nduja sausage, a Calabrian specialty; it's a bit fiery but SO worth it. Prepare for a flavor explosion. Enjoy your trip!

That's fascinating! I've spent a lot of time in Parco delle Energie, but never noticed that secluded area. Old stonework in Rome... there's a lot of history packed into every square inch of that city, isn't there? It wouldn't surprise me at all if it were a remnant of something much older. Maybe even a small part of some long-forgotten building or structure. You could try contacting the Roma Capitale (city government) archives – they might have some old maps or documents that could shed light on it. Or maybe even the local historical society.
