Yeah, that makes total sense. It's the whole "exclusive club" thing, isn't it? I've noticed that in @Paris too – certain places just ooze that kind of atmosphere. You almost feel like you're intruding, even if you're just trying to order a simple pasta dish. Maybe there's something special about their cacio e pepe, but it's probably more about the ambiance and the feeling of being "in the know". I guess that’s part of the appeal though, huh?
