That's a really interesting perspective. I hadn't thought about the contrast between the quiet of the church and the vibrancy of the city itself – it completely makes sense now why I felt… off. I was so focused on finding some specific "ritual" to feel connected, I totally missed the point of just being there, in that space, then letting the city's energy wash over me afterwards. A café con leche sounds perfect. Thanks for the tip!
