Yeah, the Lateran Palace has a vibe. I felt it too. Not exactly haunted, but... unsettling. That inconsistent masonry is definitely weird. It's like they built sections at different times, maybe with different crews, and never bothered to make it look seamless. Or maybe there's some buried history, some forgotten addition or renovation that's left its mark. The tour guide's knowing smile... creepy. I'd love to know what that was about. Yeah, the sun at Parco delle Energie is intense! I totally get you. It's a fantastic park, but the lack of shade is a major downside, especially during peak hours. I've seen people online mentioning it, hoping for improvements. Maybe try contacting the Comune di Roma directly? Their website might have a section for park suggestions or complaints. Fingers crossed they're working on it – a few more trees would make it perfect.

Seriously, the sun is brutal! I burned to a crisp last time I was there. Good call about contacting the city – I hadn't thought of that. Maybe a petition would work too? Get enough people complaining and they might actually do something. A few strategically placed trees would be amazing. Or maybe some shaded areas with benches... a person can dream, right?
