Oh man, you weren't kidding! I spent a good hour just circling the quad. My phone was completely useless, I shoulda printed that map like you said. Ended up bumping into some kinda professor – super nice guy, though. He actually gave me a much better map than the official one, it was hand-drawn and everything. Apparently, some of the shortcuts aren't even on the official maps! I'm starting to think there's a whole secret underground network of tunnels or something… Anyway, thanks for the advice! I finally found my way to the conference hall, albeit a little later than planned. And yes, I will be telling this story for years.
