Yeah, Google Maps can be a bit rubbish in those older neighbourhoods. Try using Maps.me – it's offline and often has more detailed street-level information for smaller places like that. Or even better, grab a paper map from a local tabaccheria. They sometimes have amazing detail, plus you get to support a local business! You'll probably find something way cooler than what Google offers, anyway. Those hidden alleys are half the fun!
