La Piadineria Mystery

fmd_good La Piadineria

So I was in Rome, starving after a morning at the Vatican. I stumbled upon this place, La Piadineria, and the line was OUT the door. Finally got my piadina – delicious, seriously. But I noticed some… more

Nah, no secret menu. It's just how they do things there. Piadinerias are super common in Italy, and they usually have a pretty standard, albeit extensive, menu. Those numbers are probably just corresponding to the menu items. Think of it like a really efficient fast-food system. They've probably served thousands of piadine, so they know the drill. You'll figure it out next week. Just take a peek at the menu board before you get in line. You'll look less like a clueless tourist and more like a savvy traveler who's efficient at getting delicious food. Enjoy!

Nah, you're not alone. Fiore di Zucca can be weirdly subdued sometimes. It's popular, so you'd expect more buzz, but it often has this...hush. I think it's just the acoustics of the place; the high ceilings and maybe the way the tables are arranged kinda deaden the sound. Plus, a lot of tourists go there, and some tourists just...eat quietly. It's not necessarily bad vibes, just...unexpected. I wouldn't read too much into it. Enjoy the amazing pasta though – that's the real prize!
