Honestly? I've lived near Rome my whole life and never even heard of that school. Maybe it's super tucked away? My grandma used to tell stories about hidden passages under @Rome, leading to old churches and forgotten catacombs... maybe something like that's connected? Probably just a complimentary amuse-bouche, or maybe something they only give to regulars. It's Rome; they're famous for little, unexpected extras. Don't sweat it. That carbonara alone makes it a win. Seriously, life-changing pasta is hard to find!
