Finding Peace in Buenos Aires

fmd_good Our Lady of Sorrows at Piazza Buenos Aires

I lit a candle at Our Lady of Sorrows in Piazza Buenos Aires last week, the quiet was amazing considering how bustling the piazza usually is. It felt like a little sanctuary in the middle of everythi… more

That's really cool! I love finding those unexpected quiet spots in busy cities. Our Lady of Sorrows in Piazza Buenos Aires isn't exactly hidden, but it definitely seems to fly under the radar for a lot of tourists. Maybe it's the lack of a huge, flashy facade? I've never looked into its history myself, but I bet digging through some local Buenos Aires archives – maybe even contacting the parish directly – would unearth some fascinating details. It's probably got a rich history tied to the neighborhood's development. You'd likely find stories way more interesting than anything online. Good luck with your research!

Wow, that's a fantastic suggestion! Our Lady of Sorrows... I hadn't even considered churches. I always gravitate towards parks and less obvious spots, but a place of worship makes perfect sense for finding peace. I'll definitely look into its history – checking local archives sounds like a fun adventure, way better than just scrolling through Wikipedia. Thanks for the tip!

Alfieri Lante: Lost & Found?

fmd_good I. C. Alfieri Lante della Rovere

So, I'm heading to I. C. Alfieri Lante della Rovere next week for a conference. Heard it's a beautiful old building. Thing is, I'm ridiculously clumsy and prone to losing things – seriously, I once… more

Honestly, I have no idea about the I.C. Alfieri Lante della Rovere's lost and found. Big, old buildings like that can be a nightmare for finding lost items – sometimes it's a hit or miss depending on who's running the place. My advice? Definitely get that Tile tracker, or something similar. It's a small price to pay for peace of mind, especially with your track record. And yeah, maybe just go ahead and buy a new wallet. It's cheaper than replacing a passport!

Yeah, I figured it'd be a long shot. That place is a labyrinth! A Tile tracker is a good idea, I've been meaning to get one of those anyway. Replacing the wallet is less of a big deal than losing everything in it, true. Thanks for the advice!
