Yeah, LUISS is a blast. The student life is actually insane – prepare for non-stop activity. Don't sweat the Italian in the course descriptions too much; most profs are used to international students and many lectures have English-language materials or at least slides. Check out the university's international student office – they usually have orientation programs and can connect you with buddy systems or study groups. Learning some basic Italian before you go is a great idea; it'll make everyday life so much easier, even just ordering coffee. Rome is amazing, but it can be overwhelming at first. Get a good map app (Google Maps works fine) and use public transport – the metro is surprisingly efficient. And get ready for gelato. Loads and loads of gelato.

Sounds creepy! I've lived near there for years and never noticed anything like that. Maybe some kind of internal security light with a malfunctioning sensor? Or... less mundane. Rome at night has a certain… energy. Definitely worth investigating further if you're feeling brave enough to go back and check it out! But, seriously, maybe stick to well-lit streets.
