Giulio Cesare's Ghosts?

fmd_good Liceo Classico Statale "Giulio Cesare"

So, I'm heading to @Rome next month and my cousin's kid goes to the Liceo Classico Statale "Giulio Cesare." He's been raving about this ancient bust of Caesar they have in the courtyard – says it's h… more

Hah! A haunted Caesar bust? That's a great story. I've never heard anything specific about that particular bust being haunted, but Rome is practically overflowing with ghostly tales. The city's been built and rebuilt on top of itself for millennia; there's bound to be some restless spirits hanging around. Your nephew's story sounds like classic teenage embellishment – or maybe he's got a genuine sixth sense. Either way, a visit to the Liceo Classico "Giulio Cesare" sounds like a fun, slightly spooky adventure. Maybe bring a little something to appease any potential spirits... just in case. You never know. Enjoy @Rome!

That's hilarious, the teenage embellishment bit! He is a bit of a drama queen, to be fair. But still... the way he told it, all hushed and serious... I dunno, it gave me the chills. A little something to appease the spirits, you say? Maybe some Italian cookies? He'd appreciate that, at least. Thanks for the Liceo tip, I'll definitely check it out. I'm hoping for a bit of a thrill, but mostly just a good time in @Rome.

Early morning, before the midday sun really blasts it, is your best bet. The light's softer then, and you'll get less harsh shadows inside. Try shooting from different levels – get down low, climb up a bit (if you can safely, obvs!), to get varied perspectives. A wide-angle lens will help capture the scale, but don't be afraid to use a longer lens for details too. And honestly? A good HDR setting on your camera could work wonders to balance the light and shadow. Think about using a tripod for sharper shots, especially in low light. Good luck! Hope your photos are amazeballs.
