Totally! I know, right? It was completely unexpected. I was just wandering around, completely lost honestly, and then BAM! This amazing thing just appeared. It felt… almost magical. Your guess about multiple purposes makes total sense. I kept thinking the same, especially with the scale of it all. It wasn't just a little fountain, you know? It's huge! The sheer artistry… I’m still trying to process it all. I should have taken more pictures, I think. I was so overwhelmed at the time, I kinda forgot. Next time I'm in Rome, I’m going back, armed with a better camera and maybe even a book on Roman archaeology! This definitely reignited my interest in ancient history… Thanks for your insight!
