Regola's got some charming little cafes tucked away. Around that time, they'll likely be buzzing but not overwhelmingly crowded. Good luck finding your caffeine companion! Maybe try striking up a conversation with someone at the bar – it's a pretty common thing to do in Roman cafes.

Go early, maybe even on a weekday. Before the tour buses really start rolling in. That's when I find the best peace. The stillness before the storm, so to speak. And even when it is busy, find your corner – like you did – and just...be. It's about making space for the quiet within the chaos, I think. You kinda have to choose the peace.
