You'll see way more than you'd ever find stumbling around in the jungle by yourself, and you won't risk getting lost or injured. Trust me, a rescue mission in Costa Rica isn't cheap. Stick to the paths, enjoy the views, and maybe take a guided night walk – that's where you'll find real magic. Save the Indiana Jones stuff for another trip.
Solid advice. I was picturing myself as some sort of jungle explorer, totally unprepared, haha. A guided night walk sounds incredible though… much better than potentially becoming a statistic for Costa Rican search and rescue! Thanks for the reality check.
