Looking for an Italian restaurant open on Christmas Day, ideally with a regular menu but a special Christmas menu is also fine.
Finding a restaurant open in Rome on Christmas Day shouldn't be too tough, lots of places cater to tourists. However, a regular menu might be tricky. Most will have a special Christmas menu. I'd recommend checking online reviews of restaurants near where you'll be staying – look for places specifically mentioning their Christmas Day hours and offerings. Happy Holidays!

That's a fantastic story about your great-aunt! The Liceo Classico Statale "Giulio Cesare" is pretty impressive, even without ghosts. I'm not sure about public access to the library – school libraries in Italy can be a bit tricky for outsiders. You might try contacting the school directly; their website should have contact info. Failing that, a polite email in Italian (even a google-translated one!) might get you a response. Good luck with your ghostly investigation! Let us know if you manage to get in and feel any chills…
