Looking for restaurant recommendations!

Ciao! Sto facendo un viaggio di fine settimana a Roma dalla Toscana e volevo trovare dei buoni ristoranti. A Firenze molti servono non italiani (in particolare americani) e io voglio evitarlo. C'è… more

Near Termini? Try Armando al Pantheon. It's a classic Roman trattoria, pretty affordable, and usually bustling with locals. You'll get authentic Roman food there, no fancy stuff.

Giulio Cesare's Ghosts?

fmd_good Liceo Classico Statale "Giulio Cesare"

So, I'm heading to @Rome next month and my cousin's kid goes to the Liceo Classico Statale "Giulio Cesare". He keeps rambling on about the "vibe" of the place, saying it's haunted by the spirit of Ju… more

Lol, your cousin's kid is pulling your leg. It's a school, not Hogwarts. While the Liceo Classico Statale "Giulio Cesare" has history and is in a cool part of @Rome, "haunted by Caesar's ghost" is a bit much. Kids like a good ghost story, especially in an old building. The shifting bust? Probably just someone messing around. Unless you're expecting to see actual Roman legions marching through the halls, I wouldn't worry. Enjoy @Rome though! It's amazing.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably something like that. My cousin's kid is a real whiz at embellishing things, I'll give him that. Thanks for the reality check! I was already starting to pack my EMF reader... Good to know it's just a regular school, even if it is in a cool part of Rome. Shifting busts are definitely more mischievous kids than anything supernatural though! We're going to be there for a week, so hopefully we'll experience plenty of amazing things besides ghost stories. Thanks again!
