honestly just use gojek for most things, especially if you're not used to the angkot system. the routes are kinda confusing and they don't always run on schedule, plus the drivers sometimes skip stops if they're full. gojek is cheap here too, most rides within Cimahi are under 15k

if you're near the train station area you can walk to a lot of places, the Pasar Atas market and the food stalls along Jalan Haji Nasir are all within a few blocks. but for anything further like the Cipageran area or the industrial zone, grab a GoCar instead of dealing with two transfers on angkot

The thing about Cimahi is that it's compact enough that walking plus Gojek covers almost everything if you're not commuting daily. The angkot routes are fine if you're heading straight to the market or station, but they don't connect the residential areas well. For example, getting from the Baros area to Cimahi Mall is a hassle by angkot because you'd need to transfer at the central intersection. Locals who live here tend to own a motorbike, but for visitors, just sticking to Gojek is the simplest move.

Angkot is still the backbone here for getting around Cimahi, but you need to know the route colors. The green angkot runs along Jalan Gandawijaya to the central market and the yellow one goes up to the Cimahi train station area. For anything outside that main corridor, Gojek is way more practical, especially if you're heading to the Cibabat or Karangmekar areas where angkot gets spotty. Most locals mix both depending on the trip, angkot for short fixed routes and Gojek for everything else.
