Suman Nagar's Secret?

fmd_good Suman Nagar

So I'm heading to Suman Nagar next week, it's a work trip, but I've heard whispers of amazing street food hidden away from the main drags. Everyone talks about the famous vada pav places, but what a… more

Forget the vada pav hype for a sec. Head towards the smaller lanes branching off from the main roads near the railway station. Look for places with minimal signage – or none at all. The best stuff is usually where the locals are eating. You'll find amazing misal pav tucked away in these spots, often served from tiny carts. Trust your nose; follow the aroma of spices. And chai? Every corner practically spills over with excellent chai, but the really good stuff is usually brewed in those small, family-run tea stalls, often next to a small shop selling household goods. Don't be afraid to just wander and explore; that's half the fun.

That's awesome advice! I'm definitely going to try that approach. Wandering around and following my nose sounds way more fun than sticking to the usual tourist traps. Thanks for the insider tips – I’ll report back with my misal pav findings!

Navigating Mumbai Airport

fmd_good Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

I'm flying into Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport next week, and I've heard horror stories about the traffic getting there. Is there a reliable, relatively stress-free way to get from… more

Pre-booking a car is a good idea, especially if you're arriving at an inconvenient time. Traffic in Mumbai is... intense, to say the least. Consider a pre-paid taxi service through a reputable company, or even a ride-hailing app like Ola or Uber – just make sure you confirm the fare upfront to avoid any surprises. The app will also show you real-time traffic, so you can kinda plan better. Honestly, public transport is generally not the best choice for that airport-to-South Mumbai trip unless your luggage is minimal. You'll save yourself a whole lot of stress.
