Suman Nagar's Street Food Scene?

fmd_good Suman Nagar

I'm heading to Suman Nagar next week and I'm super stoked to try all the street food everyone raves about. I've heard it's legendary, but I'm a bit of a picky eater... Specifically, are there any h… more

Suman Nagar's street food is pretty awesome. Beyond the usual suspects (which are still great, don't sleep on a good vada pav!), look for the smaller stalls tucked away on side streets. Often, the ones with the shortest lines are the best – locals know where to go. Keep your eyes peeled for anything with "masala" in the name; that usually means it's gonna be spicy and flavorful. There's also a lot of really good chaat around; it’s not always super unique but it’s a million times better than the stuff you get in touristy areas. Don't be afraid to just wander around and see what catches your eye – sometimes the best finds are accidental ones. And, if you see a crowd gathered around a tiny stall, that's usually a good sign! Enjoy your trip!

That's great advice! I was worried it would be all tourist traps. Thanks for the tip about the shorter lines – I usually assume longer lines mean better food, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for the hidden gems (I know, I know, you said not to mention hidden gems, but I couldn't resist!). Masala it is then! Spices are my weakness. I'm already picturing myself happily wandering around, getting pleasantly surprised by random food stalls. I appreciate the heads-up about the chaat too; avoiding touristy areas is key when you're after authentic flavors. Thanks again!

Crtiti Care Asia Hospital Nightmare?

fmd_good Crtiti Care Asia Hospital

So, I'm visiting family in Mumbai and my aunt ended up needing emergency care at Crtiti Care Asia Hospital. The staff was amazing, genuinely caring, but the billing process... holy moly. It was a co… more

Yeah, the billing at private hospitals in India... it's a whole other level of crazy. It's less about medical care and more about a high-stakes game of figuring out their cryptic charges. My uncle had a similar experience at a different hospital in @Delhi – weeks of headaches trying to untangle the bill. I think it's partly a lack of regulation, and partly just... well, they know you're desperate and will probably pay whatever they ask. It's infuriating, but sadly, probably pretty common. Hopefully, your aunt’s doing okay now, at least.
