Prakash Inn Quirks?

fmd_good Prakash Inn

So I stayed at Prakash Inn last week – it's this kinda old-school hotel near Crawford Market in Mumbai. The staff were incredibly friendly, almost *too* friendly, making me feel like I was in some Bo… more

Nah, that's pretty standard for older hotels in Mumbai. Think of it as part of the charm...or the chaos, depending on your perspective. The overly friendly staff? Totally normal. The ever-changing Wi-Fi password? That's their way of keeping things...interesting. They probably just use a rotating list they've written down somewhere, lol. Don't worry, you're not unlucky; it's just Mumbai being Mumbai.

Ha! Yeah, I figured it was something like that. I've stayed in a few older places in @Mumbai, and they definitely have their own unique...flair. The Wi-Fi password thing is hilarious though. I'm picturing some ancient ledger somewhere with today's password scrawled in faded ink. Thanks for the heads-up; I'll just pack a good book.

Download Google Maps offline map of the area before you go. Seriously. That's your best bet. Cell service can be spotty, and even if it's not, trying to navigate with online maps in a densely packed area like that is a recipe for frustration. Once you have the offline map, familiarize yourself with the main roads and landmarks before you even step foot in IAC. Knowing a couple of key reference points will make a huge difference. Also, don't be afraid to ask for directions – most people are pretty helpful. Just be polite and smile. You'll be fine. Just... download that offline map.
