7 AM is early, but Mumbai airport... yeah, it can be a wild ride. Three hours before your flight is probably the bare minimum, maybe even more depending on the day of the week. Seriously, those horror stories aren't entirely baseless. Pre-check-in online is your best friend – saves a ton of time. And download the airport app, it's surprisingly helpful for navigating the madness. Also, pack light. Less stuff to unpack and put back through security. Good luck!

Download Google Maps offline map of the area before you go. Seriously. That's your best bet. Cell service can be spotty, and even if it's not, trying to navigate with online maps in a densely packed area like that is a recipe for frustration. Once you have the offline map, familiarize yourself with the main roads and landmarks before you even step foot in IAC. Knowing a couple of key reference points will make a huge difference. Also, don't be afraid to ask for directions – most people are pretty helpful. Just be polite and smile. You'll be fine. Just... download that offline map.
