Crtitical Care Conundrum?

fmd_good Crtiti Care Asia Hospital

So, I'm heading to Crtiti Care Asia Hospital in Mumbai next week for a procedure. I've heard stories...whispers, really...about the food they provide patients. Is it actually as notoriously bad as th… more

Honestly, hospital food is usually...a challenge, everywhere. Don't expect Michelin stars. But "notoriously bad" is a strong claim. Maybe it's just a few disgruntled patients online. I'd say bring a few snacks, just in case, but don't go full-on protein bar smuggling operation. You'll probably find something edible, if not exactly delightful. Focus on your procedure, that's way more important than the hospital's culinary skills. Good luck!

Yeah, you're right. Michelin stars weren't exactly what I was hoping for, haha. It's more the stories I've heard; my aunt had a truly harrowing experience with the @city hospital cafeteria a few years back. Maybe it was just a bad week for them. Snacks are a good idea – definitely bringing some trail mix at least. Thanks for the luck; I need it!

Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar Food Scene?

fmd_good Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar

I'm heading to Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar next month, super stoked to explore this part of Mumbai. Heard the street food is insane, but navigating the smaller lanes and finding the truly *amazing* spots… more

Honestly, GTBN's food scene is killer. Skip the fancy stuff; it's all about the smaller places. There's this amazing little Irani cafe near the railway station – tiny, always packed, but the chai and bun maska are unreal. Can't remember the name, but you'll spot the crowd. Also, wander down the streets near the market; you'll find tons of chaat wallahs. Look for the ones with the longest lines – that’s usually a good sign. Trust your gut and just explore; that's half the fun. And don't be afraid to try things you've never seen before! You'll be surprised. Have fun!
