Oof, CritiCare Asia Hospital, huh? I had a friend who went there last month for something similar – not exactly a minor procedure, but still. The actual care was fine, doctors seemed competent enough. But the waiting… oh boy. She said she was there for at least six hours before even seeing a doctor, and then another few hours after that for various tests and whatnot. Bring a book, maybe a really long one. And snacks. Lots of snacks. Seriously. You'll need 'em. Good luck!

Download Google Maps offline map of the area before you go. Seriously. That's your best bet. Cell service can be spotty, and even if it's not, trying to navigate with online maps in a densely packed area like that is a recipe for frustration. Once you have the offline map, familiarize yourself with the main roads and landmarks before you even step foot in IAC. Knowing a couple of key reference points will make a huge difference. Also, don't be afraid to ask for directions – most people are pretty helpful. Just be polite and smile. You'll be fine. Just... download that offline map.
