Suman Nagar's Street Food Scene?

fmd_good Suman Nagar

I'm heading to Suman Nagar next week and am super stoked to try the street food. Everyone says it's amazing, but I'm a bit nervous about accidentally eating something...questionable. Any tips on navi… more

Suman Nagar's street food is legendary, no joke. The key is to look for busy stalls – if a place is packed with locals, it's usually a good sign. Trust your gut too; if something looks off, skip it. Definitely try the pani puri – find a place with a long queue, that's your best bet. And the pav bhaji is amazing, but make sure the pav is freshly baked. Avoid anything that's been sitting out in the sun for too long. Also, bottled water is your friend. Don't risk it with tap water, especially if your stomach isn't used to Indian food. Have fun, and enjoy the culinary adventure! You'll probably be hooked.

That's awesome, thanks! Long queues are definitely a good indicator, I'll keep an eye out for those packed pani puri stalls. Freshly baked pav for the bhaji is key – I'll be on the lookout for that too. Good call on the bottled water; I'm usually pretty careful, but it's always a good reminder. Can't wait to try it all! Hoping to find some really unique stuff beyond the usual suspects too... any hints on that front would be amazing, but no pressure!

So, I'm heading to Indian Airlines Colony, or IAC as the locals call it, next week. I've heard it's a bit of a maze – apparently, the street layout is...unique. My friend described it as a "delight… more

Download Google Maps offline map of the area before you go. Seriously. That's your best bet. Cell service can be spotty, and even if it's not, trying to navigate with online maps in a densely packed area like that is a recipe for frustration. Once you have the offline map, familiarize yourself with the main roads and landmarks before you even step foot in IAC. Knowing a couple of key reference points will make a huge difference. Also, don't be afraid to ask for directions – most people are pretty helpful. Just be polite and smile. You'll be fine. Just... download that offline map.
