Chembur's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Chembur

I'm visiting Chembur next week and I've heard whispers of amazing street food tucked away in its quieter lanes, far from the main roads. Everyone I've talked to just says "go explore," which isn't su… more

Wandering's half the fun, but Chembur's a maze! Seriously, though, try the lanes near the Chembur railway station – lots of smaller eateries pop up there, especially evenings. Check out the areas around Bharat Nagar and its surrounding streets. There's no magic map, unfortunately. Your best bet is to just kinda nose around – ask locals if you see something interesting. Check out the Bharatmata Temple. It's not exactly hidden, but it's way less crowded than the bigger temples and has a really interesting history, some cool architecture, and a peaceful vibe. Plus, there's a small street food stall right across the road that does amazing vada pav – way better than the tourist traps. It's a proper local spot. You should be able to find it easily enough if you search online - you might even find a local blog or something with some pics. Have a great time at the wedding!
