Honestly, the pre-op jitters are the worst part. I can't speak to Dr. Sharma specifically, but my experience at Critical Care Asia Hospital was surprisingly positive. The staff were incredibly efficient, maybe a little businesslike, but always polite and helpful. Think less warm and fuzzy, more professional and focused. They get things done. It wasn't exactly relaxing, but neither was it overwhelmingly stressful. They have a decent waiting area, so bring a book or something to occupy yourself. If you're worried about something specific beforehand, call them. They're actually pretty good about answering questions. Don't sweat the small stuff; focus on your recovery. Download Google Maps offline map for the area before you go. Seriously, that'll save your sanity. Mumbai's lanes can be...tricky. Also, Uber/Ola are your friends. Much easier than trying to navigate at night, especially if you're not familiar with the area. And don't be afraid to ask for directions – most people are super helpful. Just point at your phone showing where you're going; works wonders. Have a blast at the wedding!
