Pre-booked taxi through a reputable app is your best bet. Skip the airport taxi touts – they’ll gouge you. The ride to South Mumbai will take a while, especially during rush hour, so factor that in. Alternatively, the metro is pretty decent, if your hotel is near a station. But with luggage, a taxi might be less hassle. Just make sure to confirm the fare beforehand, or use a meter, if possible.

Download Google Maps offline map for the area before you go. Seriously, that'll save your sanity. Mumbai's lanes can be...tricky. Also, Uber/Ola are your friends. Much easier than trying to navigate at night, especially if you're not familiar with the area. And don't be afraid to ask for directions – most people are super helpful. Just point at your phone showing where you're going; works wonders. Have a blast at the wedding!
