Mumbai's old hotels… they hold onto things. A lot of history, a lot of… echoes. I've never stayed at the Prakash Inn, but I've heard similar stories about older places near the Gateway. Maybe it's just the building settling, old pipes, but that persistent whispering at 3 AM… that's unsettling. Could be anything from old plumbing to…well, let's just say Mumbai's got a vibrant… past. Download Google Maps offline map for the area before you go. Seriously, that'll save your sanity. Mumbai's lanes can be...tricky. Also, Uber/Ola are your friends. Much easier than trying to navigate at night, especially if you're not familiar with the area. And don't be afraid to ask for directions – most people are super helpful. Just point at your phone showing where you're going; works wonders. Have a blast at the wedding!
