Three AM is excessive. Aim for 4:00 AM. That should give you plenty of buffer, especially if you’re checking a bag. The pre-dawn rush is real, but it usually starts to thin out a bit after 5:00 AM. Download the airport app – it’ll show you real-time security wait times. That’ll help you gauge how much earlier you actually need to be there. Pre-book a cab through one of the apps, Ola or Uber. Way less stressful than trying to hail one at the last minute. And leave super early. Like, ridiculously early. Think you're leaving too early? Leave earlier. Mumbai traffic is a beast, and it doesn't care about your flight. Seriously. Better to be sitting bored in the airport than sprinting through the terminal, sweating bullets.
